New Year’s Eve Toronto
Toronto biggest New Year’s party will be at Nathan Phillips Square, a minute from Queens station.
The outdoor event will start at 10pm with concerts.
There is also going to be an event for family fun at Dundas Square which starts at 8pm.
The TTC, subways included will run for free starting at 12am and will continue running until 4am.

How to get a Job
I have recently quit my past job as a bartender and now I’m on the job hunt.
So I wanted to share how easy it is to prepare yourself for getting hired by a new employer.
First create a resume, your resume should be brief and easy to navigate by an employer.
This is my resume; I think its great and very professional looking. I printed it in colour and on thick paper 60lb type and gave it out to employers.

I also recommend mentioning a website in your resume, the website was yurishevchouk.com and when an employer goes to it it redirects him/her to my LinkedIn account.
LinkedIn is a great service as through it you develop an online resume and you can connect with employers an gather recommendations which are better then references.
Recommendations are great as employers can post about your performance.

“$1,600 for each university student “
I have heard about this before and confirmed it today:
University students in Ontario are eligible for a 1600$ rebate on their tuition thanks to the new policies established by the education premier Dalton McGuinty.
I think this is a really positive occurrence as tuition fees are through the roof; 6000$ a year.
To get your rebate; there will be a site launched in January that you can visit and apply, those with OSAP get it automatically.
